Tiger BITes is LSU’s Bystander Intervention Training program designed to empower students to create a safer, more respectful campus culture. Being an active bystander can prevent, impact and reduce high-risk situations in the campus community, including sexual violence, alcohol and drug abuse, mental health issues, harassment, discrimination and hazing. The goal of Tiger BITes is to develop the awareness, skills and courage required to intervene when another individual is at risk. Tiger BITes is designed for students from all backgrounds and teaches individuals how to send powerful messages defining acceptable behavior in the campus-community. Through this interactive training session, students will open the dialogue about risky behaviors and build a unique skillset necessary to intervene and teach other students to do the same, creating a safer, more positive community for all.

How to get trained: Attend one of our Tiger BITes trainings on campus.
