No. Online orientation is a series of modules which must be completed PRIOR to your orientation date. Online orientation serves a resource you can refer back to throughout your time at LSU.
On average, students need about two hours to complete the modules, and they do not have to be done all at once. If you need a break, your progress will be saved for you. This information will be available to you throughout your time at LSU, so we hope you will continue to refer back to it as a resource. You will receive an email with login instructions in December.
The online orientation will cover the following topics: Academics, Financial Matters, Support Services, Student Life, Policies & Safety
Though not required, family members/guests who serve in primary support roles are encouraged to participate in the Bengal Bound along with you. The orientation fee includes one guest and additional guest can be added for $25 per person.
